Oman has launched a national workshop aimed at addressing governance challenges within the heritage and tourism sectors. The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, in collaboration with the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, initiated the four-day workshop in Muscat on Monday. The event focuses on improving governance and enhancing institutional integration across Oman’s tourism sector.

The workshop gathers representatives from 11 governorates, 17 government agencies, and tourism experts. It aims to enhance coordination, decentralise decision-making, and explore sustainable tourism management strategies.
